Video / Minister Miraoui: The file of Ukraine Moroccan students will be «solved by end of July»

Good news. The file of Moroccan students back from Ukraine will be “definitely solved by the end of this coming July, 2022”, has declared Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui.

“After the Eid of Sacrifice, we will organize exams for access to faculties of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry for the behalf of those students”, has indicated Minister Miraoui in a statement in portal “pam.ma”, adding that intensive meetings were held with a network of deans of faculties of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry from both public and private sectors, have adopted a series of measures regarding the number of supplementary seats to be available from each establishment.

The Minister has underlined that “students who will succeed those exams will be admitted in those faculties, from both public or private, according to their ranking and grades”.

Minister Miraoui has made clear that “students who will not make a step forwards, will be oriented for academic establishments in Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary”, after they set for an admission test organized by those universities in Morocco.

“Our goal is to allow those students to have the opportunity to follow up their studies in public and private universities, either in Morocco or abroad”, the Minister has confirmed.

Minister Miraoui has reminded that his department has taken seriously the dossier of Moroccan students back from Ukraine universities since the very beginning, by setting up an e-platform to count the number of those students, clarifying that 75% among them were registered at faculties of medicine, pharmacy and dentistry in Ukraine.

I hope that this dossier will be closed definitely by the end of July”, has he added.
