Minister of Culture Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid opens the 26th working session of Moulay Ali Sh’rif University
Minister of Youth Culture and Communication Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid opened last Friday, November 24, 2023, the 26th working session of Moulay Ali Sh’rif University, which was organized in Rissani under the patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. The historian and official spokesman of the royal palace Mr. Abdelhaq M’rini has attended the opening session along with the Wali of Derra-Tafilalet area and President of the area council plus other personalities.
The main topic of the session has focused on the subject “Morocco in its African dimension during the era of the Alawite dynasty”, a topic which was discussed in depth by academic researchers from several specialized committees revoking our country track in its African dimension in efforts that help achieve continental integration, development, stability and decent living for all the continent peoples.
In his statement on the occasion, Minister Bensaid has reaffirmed that the 26th session of Moulay Ali Sh’rif University is an opportunity to oversee major projects in the cultural, artistic and cultural heritage preservation, making clear that there is a cultural partnership to fund and implement tourism development projects, particularly mountains and oasis tourism to which the Ministry will contribute with a funding package estimated at MAD 120.5 million.
