Minister Leila Benali: Partnership signed between Morocco and the UAE has given a new strong push to private investments in the energy sector

Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development Mrs. Leila Benali has stated that “the partnership signed in the energy sector between the Moroccan Kingdom and the UAE state has given a strong new push to private investments in this field”.

Minister Benali added that the signing of this agreement constitutes an opportunity to implement national strategy for energy transition, underlining that the strategic dimension of this agreement confirms His Majesty King Mohammed VI’s wise vision along with the President of the UAE state His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Minister Benali has pointed out that Morocco envisages to advance with a new generation of bilateral cooperation and long-term investments in the energy field; highlighting that this agreement represents an opportunity to strengthen resilience during various crises witnessed by the world.
