PAM’s MP, Moulay Habdi Zubair, has recently held a coordinative meeting with the party’s representatives in Smara, in order to discuss the current situation in the region. The meeting was attended by members of the National Council, the Regional Coordinator, and different civil society actors.

During the meeting, Zubair acknowledged the efforts made by PAM’s elected bodies within communal councils, and has also emphasized their constant dedication to defending people’s interests, as well as their commitment to fulfil the principles of change, despite the constraints posed by the political tensions in Smara region.

In addition, Zubair affirmed his support for the regional secretariat’s organizational and communicative initiatives, ensuring the latter’s full commitment to reach the established goals in compliance with PAM’s principles and project, while calling for a better cohesion to achieve the desired outcome.

The MP concluded his intervention by calling on his elected comrades to prepare for the upcoming elections, in order to ensure a successful democratic procedure in Smara region, meet people’s expectations, and abide by the Authenticity and Modernity Party’s procedural terms within the region.

These, however, shall be achieved by tracking and bringing more attention to all issues related to public and local affairs, while examining and finding sustainable solutions to citizens’ everyday problems.
