Morocco’s Airport Authority adopts new measures vis-à-vis new arrivals from the Gulf countries

The Moroccan Airport Authority stated that, as of today, May 5th, all passengers arriving from Abu Dhabi, Dubai (UAE), Doha (Qatar) and Manama (Bahrain,) are required to submit a negative PCR test certificate for “Covid-19”, conducted within the last 72 hours before departure.

Moreover, travellers arriving from the aforementioned destinations are to be subjected to a quick examination upon their arrival to Morocco; however, in the event that these tests turn out positive (for some), those deemed infected will be put under quarantine in one of Morocco’s specialized hospitals.

Within the same context, the Moroccan Airport Authority decided that passengers arriving from India’s neighbouring countries are to be tested accordingly, in order to detect any potential Indian strain, as part of the airport’s preventive health measures meant to protect the kingdom against this highly-feared mutated strain.
