The President of Al Hoceima communal council, Mohamed Boudra, accompanied by his fellow deputies and council members, received, on Monday (May 24), the French Consul General in Tangiers, Sylvain Berger.
During this meeting, Boudra discussed with his French counterpart the possibility of inaugurating a new air-line linking the city of Al Hoceima to whether Paris or Marseille, in the prospect of encouraging French tourists to visit Al Hoceima, and vice versa.
On this occasion, the French Consul General recalled his country’s firm position in support of Morocco’s autonomy proposal with regard to the Moroccan Sahara, stressing at the same time the long-distinguished relations linking both countries on many levels.
The French Consul General also welcomed Boudra’s initiative aimed at creating an air link between Al Hoceima and French cities.
Within the same context, Sylvain Berger shed light on the importance of strengthening relations between Al Hoceima and France in the economic and cultural fields, by creating and supporting small and medium enterprises.
