Ouahbi: « Rehamna represents our past, present and future »

PAM Secretary General, Abdellatif Ouahbi, arrived to Rehamna province on a visit, upon which, he held a communicative meeting (in Ben Guerir, on June 13, 2021) with his fellow militants and elected members.

Ouahbi provided a series of clarifications with regard to the latest organizational developments in Rehamna province, stressing his deep conviction that the party’s militants (within the said region) are capable of overcoming their problems in all prosperity, for the debate was rather lively, thus it ended on good terms.

Within the same context, Ouahbi stated that the meeting was quite productive, provided the fruitful exchange of views and visions between militants, as well as the party’s eagerness to restore its advanced position, noting that PAM as a party grants all militants the right to express themselves freely, in the prospect of creating a strong link between militants and their leaderships when important decisions are made.

“This meeting was witness to a highly-praised democratic debate, upon which PAM militants expressed their views openly, and managed to elaborate a proper solution to the issue at hand”, he added.

“Rehamna is PAM’s birthplace and source of inspiration, therefore it is hard for the party to build a better future without returning to its roots”, Ouahbi emphasized.

With regard to the party’s rich history, Ouahbi recalled that PAM has brought together several prominent figures through the years, most importantly the party’s “voice of wisdom”, Mr Ahmed Khchichn, who played an integral part in making the party what it is today at both historic and institutional levels, pointing that the work conducted by a man of his calibre has brought upon impressive results in the entire Marrakech-Safi region.

At the end of his intervention, Ouahbi called on his fellow militants to get over their differences and approach matters objectively, for what matters the most is “for all party components to respect and commit to the decisions in force”.
