PAM’s chief Abdellatif Ouahbi holds talks with Australia’s Ambassador to Morocco, Michael Cutts

PAM Secretary General, Abdellatif Ouahbi, held bilateral talks, on Thursday, with the Australian Ambassador to Morocco, Michael Cutts.

Both parties shed light on the Moroccan-Australian relations, and discussed the possibility of diversifying the cooperation in the sectors of education, health, agriculture, the environment, as well as tourism.

Within the same context, both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining good relations despite their geographical remoteness, while stressing the need to create more investment opportunities in the aforementioned fields, for the good of their nations.

During the meeting, Ouahbi discussed with his guest the latest national developments, and shared his concerns with the latter over the children and women who are currently stranded in Iraq and Syria, provided its paramount importance from a humanitarian and legal point of view.

It is noteworthy that the meeting was also attended by the Australian Embassy’s research and translation official, Asmae Azhaf, and PAM Politburo member, Mehdi Bensaid.
