Current Moroccan MP, and former member of the European Council and the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Aziza Chagaf, is set to run for the regional elections within Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, in her capacity of PAM women’s list deputy.
Chagaf is known for defending the interests of her fellow citizens within Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region.
She is also known for her distinguished political and academic background, for she has served as a member of PAM politburo, as well as the Movement for All Democrats. Moreover, Chagaf established the foundations of the party within Dakhla region back in 2008, and chaired the Inter-Parliamentary peace committee for two terms.
Upon her nomination, Chagaf stated that the “participatory approach” is key to dealing with the region’s uprising challenges, such as unemployment, health, and education.
It is noteworthy that Chagaf graduated from Johnson & Wales University in the USA, where she completed an MBA in Economics.
