PAM’s Souss-Massa regional secretariat has recently condemned a variety of acts and behaviors by a certain party’s candidates and respective officials, through the use of unjustified monetary funds to entice voters within the region, thus violating all electoral regulations and ethics.
In view of the latest developments with regard to the elections, PAM’s regional secretariat stated that the said party has been using monetary funds hideously in order to entice and lure PAM militants into switching sides, or to withdraw from the elections (Tiznit and Taroudant for instance), while deliberately engaging in violent acts in areas such as Taliouine, Ait Iaaza, and others.
In this respect, PAM’s regional secretariat denounced the use of fraudulent means throughout the elections, including the distribution of bank-like cards, to mislead citizens and lure them into believing that they shall be awarded monetary transactions in the near future.
PAM’s regional secretariat also condemned all acts of violence relating to the elections, and expressed its solidarity with the victims of such intimidating behaviors, for they do not serve the elections’ moral and democratic purposes.
Meanwhile, PAM’s regional secretariat commanded the tremendous and qualitative efforts made by PAM militants within Souss-Massa region, recalling that the party’s coverage of communal candidacies has reached 90%.
In conclusion, PAM’s regional secretariat called on all party militants to engage in the electoral campaign responsibly, while adhering to the organizational laws in force, committing to all precautionary measures recommended by the competent authorities, and staying clear of dishonest and fraudulent behaviors.
