PAM National Council held a new remote meeting on September 17, 2021, to discuss Morocco’s internal and external challenges, as well as the recent electoral results.
By virtue of the offer by the newly-appointed PM in charge of forming the government, PAM National Council members shall stress the following:
First, we shall express our gratitude to HM the King for holding the elections in due time, despite the coronavirus constraints, in an effort to consolidate the institutional and democratic choices to which our citizens are the main factor.
Second, we shall praise the party’s structures for their positive results throughout the elections, despite the difficult conditions they endured due to the inner conflict that took place prior to our fourth assembly, as well as the state of emergency imposed by the pandemic, thus standing in the way of implementing our programs in the prospect of establishing a democratic environment.
Third, we shall commend our fellow militants for their responsible commitment to review the party’s political and ideological path, through the adaptation of a critical approach that requires both devotion and patriotism.
Fourth, we shall highlight the common principles and values we share with the RNI party in the prospect of joining efforts and working together.
Fifth, we shall reaffirm the national council’s decision to accept the offer by the newly-appointed PM with regard to the participation in the “soon-to-be-formed” government.
Sixth, we shall ensure a true and effective participation of our party in the next government, in compliance with our political proportion and ideological presence, through a realistic and distinguished program aimed at serving the public interest.
Seventh, we shall delegate our respective SG to take upon the ongoing discussions over forming the new government, by deliberately representing the party as one of its constituents.
Signed and approved by the president of PAM National Council, Fatima-Zahra Mansouri
