Official. A third dose of vaccine against the pandemic of Covid-19 will be administered as part of the national immunization campaign, the Ministry of Health announced Friday.
“Following the recommendations of the national scientific committee and international scientific recommendations, a third dose of the vaccine against covid-19 will be administered as part of the national vaccination campaign, which has experienced since its inception a positive momentum and a broad interaction of citizens,” said the Ministry in a statement.
The procedures and modalities for the third dose, as well as the targeted categories, will be communicated at a later date, the Ministry explained.
Given the importance of strengthening immunity among all Moroccans and foreigners residing in Morocco and so that they protect themselves and their families from contamination, they are called upon to join this operation, said the same source.
The Ministry called on everyone to respect the instructions of the public health authorities and to continue to strictly observe the preventive measures before and after vaccination, in order to contribute to the national effort to contain this virus in Morocco and move towards collective immunity.
