MP Mrs. Kekouss written message to Minister Miraoui about first year students denial from accommodation at the National School of Statistics

Mrs. Najoua Kekouss, member the PAM at the Parliament, has addressed a written message to Minister of Higher Education and Innovation about emergency measures to be taken regarding the opening of the National School of Statistics dormitory on behalf of first year students who were denied the school dormitory.

MP Mrs. Kekouss, in a written message said “The Covid-19 pandemic has imposed a series of measures in the context of national efforts to limit the pandemic impacts, among those measures the adoption of remote education system at various academic courses; the fact which has resulted in the closing of university dormitories, campuses and students housing, among them the National School of Statistics and Applied Economy dormitory”.

Mrs. Kekouss added “the first year students’ denial to benefit from dormitory services has harmed them, especially students who live far away in remote areas or belong to lower middle class and low income families; the fact which has forced them to face many housing problems in the capital.”
