Minister Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid takes part in Assilah international cultural forum

Mr. Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, has confirmed that Assilah international cultural forum has acquired a large experience in debating political, cultural and economic topics out of concern to monitor present risks on states and peoples and to influence as much as possible policies towards handling distortions and therefore present long-term solutions in relation with environment and human dimensions.

Mr. Bensaid made a statement at the opening session of the Assilah international cultural forum, last Friday, October 29 2021, saying that the importance of this forum resides, especially, in the cultural, political and economic elites which attend this forum, in addition to officials and interveners from various sectors, highlighting that this multifaceted attendance gives this forum its in-depth and rich aspect.

The Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication added that establishing security and stability is considered today as one of the biggest challenges facing world governments, since that extremism and terrorism implications have harmed all venues of life and this has contributed to reducing growth rate and adding more costs on countries to face the burden of protection, dismantling of terrorist cells and borders fortification”.

The Minister said in addition “I’d like to express gratitude towards the forum program, which has devoted an interesting conference to deal with issues pertaining to this area of high risks and faces security, strategic, institutional and economic challenges , adding that the forum eagerness to highlight the imperative partnership and bloc as a way out to all those challenges goes in harmony with the Moroccan Kingdom orientations and policies under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, and which have dealt  with issues of combatting terrorism with full responsibility, the fact which has earned Morocco its international reputation as a leading country in the fight against terrorism.

Mr. Bensaid has stressed that the remaining of conferences are also important especially when they come to debate issues related to democracy and the South and remembering one of the great symbols of enlightened leaderships embodied in Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyanknown for his renaissance and development disposition, and who has transformed his country to an advanced status in the regional and international economic system; expressing also gratitude towards the forum handling literature and media through the use of Arab poetry today, and the creativity tent which commemorates and pays tribute to a famous media personality Mr. Mohamed El Brini, and through which participants discuss challenges facing Moroccan media in the context of industrial and technology transformations, in addition to exhibition and artistic workshops programmed at the forum of Assilah.
