Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, Minister of Justice received on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, a delegation representing the coalition “Equity Daba/Now” at his office, in the context of a campaign launched by the Moroccan coalition to implement the recommendations of a national petition to apply chapter 19 of the constitution.
Minister Ouahbi has praised the action carried out by the coalition “Equity Daba/Now”, highlighting the important position enjoyed by Moroccan women, as embodied by the 2011 constitution through its stipulation of the equity principle; the fact which has resulted in Morocco’s adoption of a number of international agreements in relation with this topic.
The meeting was also an occasion to value the spirit of cooperation between the Ministry and the coalition, and to renew the commitment to reinforce partnership in all issues of mutual interest.
