Minister Delegate to the President of the government in charge of digital transition and administrative reform met with brilliant programmers

Ms. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the President of the government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, met last Thursday, December 2, 2021, at her department office, with a team of Moroccan students who won the first award in the Moroccan test for youth programming.

This reception has come in the context of inciting young students for innovation and creation and to encourage them to take initiatives and excellence in programming and logarithms, as confirmed the press release distributed by e-journal Hespress.

The press release added that “it’s worth pointing out that the awarded team of the first rank in the Moroccan test for youth programming among university students is made up of three students and their lady coach; they represent Faculty of Sciences in Rabat, and they were qualified among 88 participating teams from across Moroccan universities.

The press communiqué added furthermore that “this student team will represent Morocco in the African Arab championship for young university programmers to be held in Luxor, Egypt in current December of this year”.

The competition is based on the principle of developing students’ skills in programming and on the use of finding methodical solutions to problems and logarithms; it also helps student programmers to embrace team work to find the best solutions in the shortest time possible. The African Arab championship is the qualifying test for participating in the ICPC (international competition in programming)
