Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, oversaw last Monday, December 13, 2021, the appointment of a new director for human resources and a new director for studies, cooperation and modernization at the Ministry.
The appointment concerned Mr. Mohamed Younssi, as director of human resources and Ms. Samiya Choukri as director of studies, cooperation and modernization.
In a statement made on the occasion, Minister Ouahbi has asserted that the Ministry is expecting big challenges in order to value gains and complete major projects for reforming the justice apparatus in aspects that interest confirming rule of the law state and guarantee an independent judiciary, fair and guarantor of an attractive and positive business atmosphere.
Mr. Ouahbi said that “the big responsibility bestowed on justice department should keep abreast with structural transformations witnessed by the justice realm, and value the efforts being accumulated over the years in the field of modernization and digitalization”, adding that the current bet is on the justice digital transformation in our country, on the ground that it is a fundamental tool to manage transformations at all levels.
The Minister added that among the targeted goals for this digital transformation is the use of governance mechanisms, to rely on a transformational digital strategy, implement the directory plan for digital transformation and make easy access to justice; the matter also concerns the preparation of a digital infrastructure to help sustain the technical and communication infrastructure of the judiciary and to renew all equipment and computers and update the judiciary data system.
Minister Ouahbi has stressed that the Ministry is eager to the well-functioning of the digital revolution and exploitation of technology progress to help manage justice in courts and therefore transcend the justice apparatus qualitative performance.
