Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, received last Thursday, December 23, 2021, at his office, the winning team at the third rank in the finals of “Africa Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence Challenge 2021”. The Moroccan team is made up of Mr. Mohamed Hamzi, Mr. Ayyoub Seghir, Mr. Ismail Yazidi, Mr. Yahya Aloui and Mr. Yassine Idrissi.
The Moroccan team has succeeded in ranking third in the project called “EDTRONICS”, which is an initial model easy for use aimed at assisting beginners to be familiar and capable of having access to robots.
Minister Miraoui has expressed his pleasure towards the team’s high spirit, sense of innovation and creativity among those young people and also of his happiness to meet and know them, stressing on praising their collective efforts and leading role Moroccan universities are playing in training youth capable of making the future of this country.
