Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, Minister of Justice has confirmed that reparations undertaken by the Ministry regarding the Mohammedia institution for judges and justice staff, are done with consultation with trade unions, highlighting that a debate was initiated with that institution and a committee was created to oversee problems and obstacles it faces.
Mr. Ouahbi said, at an oral session question held last Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the House of Councilors, “we should restructure this institution with changing its statute (basic act), since that institution is run with bureaucracy, nepotism and favoritism”.
Concerning conditions inside external units and vacationing compounds pertaining to the Justice Ministry, Mr. Ouahbi has disclosed that the Ministry is working right now on building several vacationing centers in Saaidiya, Dakhla, Laayoune, Bin El Ouidan while others were refurnished in Martil, Ifrane, Marrakech and Agadir.
Minister of Justice Mr. Ouahbi has made clear that several compounds were rented and refurnished as vacationing centers for members from the Ministry’s staff and judges, adding that subventions will be increased for vacationing by 50% for members and accommodation should not exceed MAD 500 a day.
