Minister Laila Benali meets with an important delegation Of elected body and MPs from Dakhla

Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Mrs. Laila Benali has held a meeting with a delegation from Dakhla, representing several MPs and elected body from communal and provincial councils.

During the meeting, discussions have focused on some emergent files, including mainly sanitary sewage system network in the city, in addition to support a number of initiatives aimed at preserving environment ecosystems in the region and in Dakhla Oued Eddahab area in general.

According to statements made by some elected personalities who have attended the meeting, Minister Benali has praised the big development process being witnessed in Dakhla over the shortest period, expressing her full readiness to take part in that dynamism through the contribution to subside the project of improving the sanitary sewage system network in the city.

The elected body has expressed its gratitude and thanks to Minister Benali for her positive and smooth reaction the sector she is supervising and for her eagerness to open channels of dialogue and communication with elected personalities and communities representatives.

Minister Benali has vowed to do her best to support and follow up structured projects in Dakhla, especially to find a final solution to the problem of garbage management, including the ministry commitment to provide garbage containers at various neighborhoods.

Minister Benali has committed herself to establish partnerships with elected councils in the province, in accordance with special attention afforded by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to Southern provinces and their populations.
