For PAM and USFP teams, communal council assumes full responsibility for catastrophic conditions in Al Hoceima

Mrs. Fatima Saadi and Mr. Fouad Benali, two PAM and USFP representatives at Al Hoceima communal council have strongly condemned managerial conditions in Al Hoceima. In a communiqué signed by the two representatives, and in firm responsibility to play the role of supportive opposition at the council and for the sake of local communities’ interests, they have voted for the first budget in this mandate and expressed their integration in all discussions which concern the council’s majority.

However, many negative aspects of improvisation, carelessness and unprecedented chaos at various levels of urban management of the city have provoked the anger of many local populations who really care about the city of Al Hoceima, said the communiqué.

In front of this condition, for PAM and USFP teams, the council’s presidency office and majority coalition are the ones which assume full responsibility for deteriorating conditions in Al Hoceima, condemning on the same time, permanent absence of the council’s president calling on him to bear his own responsibility as a president of the council.

PAM and USFP teams have strongly condemned the catastrophic managerial conditions and communal services including:

Decline of hygiene sector which has witnessed an unprecedented decline
Scarcity of green spaces and gardens
Deterioration of Mohammed VI main square
Deterioration of Rif main square
Leaking of wastewater to several beaches during summer peak season
Weak public lighting in many neighborhoods of the city
Spread of potholes in many city avenues and roads
Occupation of public domain in a chaotic condition
Tlat market has turned into a black spot due to garbage and polluting sewage waters
Decline of monitoring public health and sanitation at the level of restaurants and cafés
Permanent closing of some important facilities such as the socio sports compound, a project which was inaugurated by His Majesty in addition to another professional commercial compound in Miradorneighborhood

PAM and USFP teams have expressed their big astonishment towards increasing interest in amending Al Hoceima urban planning project which comes closer to expiration and was objected by 80% of Al Hoceima local population

PAM and USFP teams  have called on all the components of the council to assume their own responsibility to save the city from chaos and improvisation.
