Ministry of Digital Transition presents five bills about promoting government staff and increase compensations for the military

The Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform presented at the government council meeting held last Thursday September 1, 2022 five bills which concern essentially the promotion of government staff and increase of compensations for military families.

The government council has adopted the five bills, which were presented by Mr. Faouzi Leqjaa, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economics and Finance in charge of the Budget, on behalf of Mrs. Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate to the government in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform.

The first bill concerns the promotion of government staff from 33 to 36% in grade; while the second bill concerns the promotion of engineers and architects from 33% to 36% effective January 1, 2023.

The government council has also adopted another bill concerning offering compensations for staff families, the military government staff communes and public institutions. The bill stipulates the increase of family compensations which will benefit the fourth and fifth child of public staff and the military from MAD 36 to MAD 100 effective January 2023.

The government council has adopted another bill about a compensations increase for technician staff and assistant technicians effective January 2023.

The last bill concerns a compensations increase for public staff at grade 6 or equivalent effective September 1, 2023
