PAM Secretary General has informed the party’s militants in Casablanca that the party will neither run for elections at Ain Choq electoral district nor for the election of a new president of the chamber of commerce and industry in the area.
In an instruction addressed to PAM militants in the area, SG Mr. Ouahbi has made clear that after extensive deliberations and responsible consultations among party’s leaders, and on the ground of reports which include all data related to candidacies for Ain Choq district and for the chamber; and in the context of PAM eagerness to respect its fulfillments and alliances inside the government majority, has decided first not to run for those two elections, and second to support candidacies of our allies in the government majority.
In this context, PAM SG has called the party’s militants to integrate with full responsibility efforts to support the Istiqlal party candidates in the legislative bi-elections in Ain Choq decided by the Ministry of Interior to take place on current September 29 for the legislative bi-elections of Ain Choq district; and on September 19 to elect a new president of the chamber of commerce, industry and services in the greater Casablanca area.
