Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi continues his brotherly visits he is making to ministers of justice in the gulf countries, Egypt and Jordan, as he held last Wednesday, September 21, 2022 a meeting with his Bahraini counterpart Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowment, Mr. Nawwaf Bin Mohamed Al Muawda, at the justice department office in Manama.
According to a communiqué by the Bahraini Minister of Justice inner circle staff, both sides have debated means of reinforcing and improving common and constructive cooperation between both countries, in the judiciary and justice fields, essentially in the field of rules and exchange of experiences at the level of training magistrates and some judiciary centers in addition to digital services in relation with the judiciary sector.
The communiqué has confirmed that both sides have expressed their determination to pursue long standing Moroccan – Bahraini relationships as both ministers have asserted that those relationships should aspire to the ambition and level of expectations of leaders of the both kingdoms, His Majesty King Mohammed VI and His Majesty King Hamad Bin Issa Al Khalifa, who enjoy strong and close brotherly relations.
The communiqué has informed that the meeting was attended by Moroccan and Bahraini officials from both ministries of justice, and has resulted in a consensus on strengthening meetings between both sides in the soonest time between experts from both ministries, to establish the foundations of a training program for the behalf of executives from the judiciary and legal profession and judges assistants, in addition to exchange of experiences in the field of digitization of the justice department and special information and computer applications related to the judiciary and in the field of regulations concerning family and penal codes.
On the margin of the meeting, according to the same communiqué, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi held a friendly meeting with Sheikh Khalid Bin Ali, Deputy President of the Higher Judiciary Council and President of the court of cassation in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and another friendly meeting with Dr. Ali Bin Fadel Bouaynain Attorney General in the Kingdom of Bahrain during which Minister Ouahbi was informed about latest developments made by Bahrain in the judiciary sector and a summary of the long standing and strong cooperation relationships between both Moroccan and Bahraini institutions.
