The executive bureau of Arab Justice Ministers Council has praised the excellent organization and reception shown by the Moroccan Kingdom to host the council’s 38th session.
The chairman of the council’s executive bureau, magistrate Badr Al Aarida, has expressed, in a statement made during the seventieth meeting of the council’s executive bureau, held last October 19, 2022 in Ifrane, his sincere thankfulness to the Moroccan Kingdom and to the Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi, for the excellent reception and kind hospitality, shedding light on the session rich agenda.
Algerian Deputy Minister of Justice from his side has praised the Moroccan Kingdom’s kind hospitality and nice reception in his behalf since his arrival, asserting that circumstances to prepare Arab summit in Algeria, have prevented the attendance of Algerian Minister of Justice to this important meeting.
The agenda of this session meeting includes a number of important topics, namely cooperation to fight terrorism, activate Arab agreements related to the fight against terrorism, Arab agreement to discuss money laundering and terrorism funding, Arab agreement to fight cyber/information crime; in addition to ransoms criminality and reinforcing Arab and international cooperation in the fight against terrorism and Arab agreement to fight corruption.
Arab Ministers of Justice will also discuss the Arab project agreement about refugees in Arab countries and Arab project agreement about protection of personal data.
Arab Ministers of Justice will discuss indicative Arab project bill to ban hatred speech, another indicative project bill to protect and assist internally displaced people in Arab countries and to prepare a unified model project bill for drugs and psychotropic substances; and an indicative Arab project bill to protect children from recruitment in armed conflicts, and another indicative Arab project bill to limit illegal proliferation of weapons in the Arab area, supplement to Arab agreement to fight organized crime across national borders and an indicative Arab project bill to support rights of the elderly.
