Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi has stated that the Justice Ministry has managed to succeed in its new strategy vision of the justice apparatus digital transformation, for the sake of achieving many goals.
Mr. Ouahbi made clear in presenting the Ministry of Justice outcome during 2022, and in exposing the outlines and major orientations the Ministry sub-budget for 2023, on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at the justice and legislation commission at the House, that to implement this vision, there was a focus on appropriating legal arsenal to cope with digitization projects, and also appropriating the restructuration of the Ministry to meet structural transformation, being witnessed by the sector; the Ministry has also worked hard on improving the quality of the judicial administration digital services by establishing data governance produced by the justice facility; and this is to make easier communication between the judiciary administration and citizens, whether escorts or litigants, and to reinforce information infrastructure at the level of central administration and decentralized services and courts and to reinforce the judiciary administration data system security.
Minister Ouahbi has reminded, on the occasion, of the major digital projects that have had the priority over this year and other major projects that are in the course of accomplishments such as the launching of e-payment services for fines, traffic violations and offenses that are detected by fixed radars, on websites.
amendes.justice.gov.ma is an e-system that allows payment electronically, rapid, free of charge and secure for traffic violations and offenses which were detected by fixed radars and were submitted to justice courts for sentences.
In addition, Minister Ouahbi has also reminded of the national consultation platform which was created about condition and scopes of women access to justice. The platform aims at making things easier for women, children and vulnerable people categories to have access to legal and judicial information, in the context of enhancing those categories participation in the reform process of the justice apparatus and make benefits from financial and legal mechanism support.
Minister Ouahbi has explained the e-judicial registry in its new version, in addition to other new services of e-platform dedicated for lawyers’ exchange with courts; and the creation of exchange platform for correspondence and another one for decision-making and the creation of an e-portal for complaints, boosting service quality of mobiles phones e-justice and the creation of calling centers for the behalf of the Justice Ministry that provide a set of important services.
