Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouabi has asserted that the new strategic vision of the judiciary system digital transformation is based on a number of basic references which endorse in general the principle of ‘”justice in the service of citizens”.
In this context, Minister Ouahbi said in response to Councilors’ questions during the oral questions session held last Tuesday, November 15, 2022, that several digital projects of priority have been programmed, which include: Offering e-services of easy access to both citizens and enterprises, providing appropriate and modern technology structure, high quality of statistics data, and also activating training plans and supporting users in relying on modern technology.
Minister of Justice has simplified in front of members of the House of Councilors the most important adopted measures to improve the quality of judiciary services, including launching of e-judiciary registry based entirely on broad digitalization for requesting and receiving judiciary registries without moving to justice courts, launching e-payment service for fines and offences detected by fixed radars, and creation of a platform for national consultations about conditions of women access to justice, as this platform is aimed at making easier for women, child and vulnerable people to have easy access to legal and judicial information.
Ministry of Justice, according to the government official, has launched e-national reference for jurist and judiciary professions, and which will enable users to have access to database of a large number of judiciary professions at the national level, and which will be updated constantly and exploited in e-communication with the judicial administration, in addition to another portal for general public use. The Minister has also informed that a call center was created in the service of the Ministry of Justice to publicize various services and digital resources available on the Ministry of Justice official site.
Regarding major projects in due course of achievement and which were programmed in the short term, Minister Ouahbi has clarified that the Ministry is working right now on launching a platform for e-exchange with the Adouls to digitize procedures and measures the Adouls documentaries are processed through, with also the digitization of family solidarity fund to help improve the fund’s services, and e-reception of accompanied persons since direct remote reception action will be done by human resources directory, as a first step in the scopes of generalizing this service in the remaining central directories.
