In reinforcing cooperation relationships in the field of justice between the Moroccan Kingdom and brotherly KSA, Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi received last Tuesday morning, February 14, 2023 at his office in Rabat, Mr. Saud Bin Abdullah Al Muajab, Attorney General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who is making a working visit to our country.
At the beginning of this meeting, Minister Ouahbi has praised the high level of cooperation and deep relationships bringing together both kingdoms in different fields stating that “the relationships between the Moroccan Kingdom and the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are considered as a model in the Arab world and in the entire world; that’s why we agree on the necessity to bring these outstanding relationships between both countries to a high level of close cooperation in the justice and judiciary field”.
Minister Ouahbi has announced the two kingdoms determination to deepen those relationships is for the good benefit of the two Moroccan and Saudi peoples and in conformity with the instructions of the custodian of the Holy Mosques and His Majesty King Mohammed VI, considering that today’s meeting was fruitful and positive for both peoples”.
On this occasion, Minister Ouahbi has made a presentation before the Saudi AG and his accompanying delegation, about reforms undertaken by Morocco in the justice field, especially in terms of legislation and amendments being made in the penal bill procedure.
From his own side, Mr. Saud Bin Abdullah Al Muajab, has confirmed that his visit to Morocco has come to deepen more the relationships between both kingdoms in the justice and General Attorney Office action, expressing at the same time his happiness to get informed about the Moroccan experience and reforms Morocco is undertaking in the justice field.
