Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Mrs. Leila Benali has held talks with British Minister of State in charge of Business and Commerce, who is making a working visit to Morocco about reinforcing trade exchanges between both countries in the field of renewable energies and green hydrogen.
Talks have focused on business and cooperation opportunities between the Moroccan Kingdom and UK in the sector of energy transition and sustainable development.
In this context, Minister Benali has made clear that this meeting was an opportunity for both sides to discuss various topics of mutual interest, especially what concerns energy transition, sustainable development and environment; reminding of the strategic partnership between both countries and big achievements being made at the level of bilateral cooperation since the 26th session of parties held in Glasgow, Scotland.
The government official has disclosed that trade exchanges between Morocco and GB have reached about $2.7 billion.
