Minister of Economic Integration, Small Enterprises, Employment and Competencies, Mr. Younes Sekkouri, presided last Friday, February 17, 2023 over a signing ceremony of the launching of “Sabil” program in the presence of the Wali of Souss-Massa and President of the area council.
This program, subsided by the French agency for development and the EU, is aimed at improving employment and vocational integration for the benefit of 12.000 young girls and boys living in Souss-Massa, Fez, Meknes, Beni Mellal and Khenifra; 10.000 among them will be on paid salary and 2000 as business leaders in the Souss–Massa area.
According to a Ministry communiqué, the program is extended over a 48 months period (from 2022 to 2025) and includes restructuration of business leadership systems in accordance to each area needs and advancing the value of small and medium-size enterprises that have no more than two years.
“Sabil” program targets young people from semi urban and rural areas whose age varies between 18 and 34 years, either with lower qualification, inactive or unemployed.
Minister Sekkouri, has signed in the presence of the Wali of Souss- Massa area and President of the area council partnerships agreements to create 1000 job positions with Segula Technologies company.
