Minister of Justice, Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi and Legal Director of the Danish Institute Mrs. Teres Ritz signed a MoU on anti-torture.
During the signing ceremony held Tuesday morning March 21, 2023 at the Justice Ministry, Minister of Justice has confirmed, in the aftermath of the launching of a practical informative guide on anti-torture achieved in partnership between the Ministry of Justice and the Danish Institute, that torture is the evil/scourge of time, which is practiced in the dark and in closed spaces and far from eyes, pointing out that Morocco has made great strides and greater steps in anti-torture.
Minister Ouahbi has highlighted that this scourge needs a great deal of action to stop it, requires the necessity for many meetings with civil society NGOs and specialists to discuss this evil and also work through training programs in this field and bring them up to practices.
