Ministry of Justice organizes in Tangier « the first scientific meeting of the deans of judiciary institutes, policy academies and faculties of law in Arab countries”

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the Moroccan Ministry of Justice organizes in partnership with Naef Arab University for security sciences, and the Arab Center for legal and judiciary research, affiliated with the Arab League, the “first scientific meeting of the deans of judiciary institutes, of police academies and faculties of law in Arab countries, at Farah Hotel in Tangier between May 3 and 5, 2023.

Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi will be participating in this session along with a number of Arab justice ministers, senior judges and senior officials from world security centers such as the UN anti-terrorism center, the UN anti-drugs and anti-crime bureau to the GCC; the Arab center for legal and judiciary research, the council of Arab justice ministers, the American university in Dubai, and the UN anti-terrorism bureau and other Arab and world institutions.

The meeting aims at presenting practical papers for discussing academic professional legal and security methodologies while exhibiting at the same time experiences from judiciary institutes, from police academies and law faculties in the field of teaching, research and scientific publication.

Participants will make proposals on means to reform educational system for judges, police academies and Arab law faculties to come out with recommendations to be submitted later on to the common session of Arab councils of ministers of justice and interior which is held every three years. The meeting will also discuss reinforcing cooperation and coordination among judiciary and security institutes in the Arab world.
