Regarding the same topic, Minister of Justice has confirmed that final results will be on shown the basis on average grade; the exam will be organized in the same conditions and measures (written and oral tests) as the previous one. A commission supported by the Kingdom ombudsman will supervise over the new exam, while former exam results will be managed as acquired and undeniable rights.
In the same context, Minister Ouahbi has reminded that the new exam will be organized during 2024 (different in form, measures, procedure, side responsible for it, number of candidates and number of those who will succeed..) but within the framework of an institute for lawyers training according to a new bill for that institute.
Mr. Ouahbi highlighted, during his invitation as a guest last Friday June 23, to “Dialogue in depth” show broadcast by Moroccan e-paper A Omq, that discussions are under way with the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation on a number of proposals and measures to develop and advance lawyer’s profession, justice and judiciary, starting from faculties of law at Moroccan universities, and in harmony with new development witnessed in above- mentioned sectors , which require new means and methods.
Concerning the penal code bill, the government official has pointed out that the text is ready at the Ministry of Justice, but it will come out after it will be presented to government presidency, the government’s secretariat general, considering that penal code bill will serve justice and citizens and not for “political purpose”. Minister Ouahbi said that “I express my conviction and will defend it from my position as a minister, to defend its provisions and contents but the last decision remains with the government”.
On the other hand, Minister Ouahbi has praised government action and noticeable harmony among the government majority components which work hard but in reticence and in calm, preferring the language of action over talks.
“Citizens prefer to listen and see results and get informed about achievements being achieved rather that political discourse, which includes more promises and little action”, added the Minister
“All ministers are working with great responsibility and attain very satisfactory results in their sectors related basically to citizens’ living conditions”, has concluded Minister Ouahbi.
