New training courses will be set up in partnership with territorial actors starting from next academic year 2023-2024, indicated last Monday , Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation Mr. Abdellatif Miraoui.
This is the outcome of large consultations undertaken by the Ministry in the context of regional symposiums, has made clear Minister Miraoui in response to oral questions at the House of Representatives, noting that more than 120 conventions have been concluded with regional actors about university campuses, scholarships and students mobility.
Those symposiums have brought together different partners at both the regional and local levels (academics, elected body, civil society NGOs, socio- economic actors) and have constituted an opportunity allowing a certain analysis between training offers and socio-economic development needs, while taking into account qualifications, opportunities and constraints at both regional and local level, has stated the Minister.
Minister Miraoui has disclosed that adaption of academic training with regional and local development requirements is considered as a “major” priority in the context of establishing an acceleration national plan for the transformation of higher education, scientific research and innovation.
