PAM Secretary General Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi has considered that the creation of a preparatory committee for the upcoming convention during the national council session will be on its schedule despite some challenges and compulsions, and will send strong messages to different political actors and to citizens that PAM is the party of institutions, of organization, of law respect and of the smartness of its militants.
In this context, PAM Secretary General called on National Council members during his intervention at the 27th session held last Saturday, July 8 2023 at the conferences palace in Oulja/Salé, to win the bet of choosing the preparatory committee democratically and with transparency to achieve its goals stating “we’d like to see a real image of the expectations of all party’s militants in a way to reflect the party’s political strength and be a new lesson for those who still have some doubts about the fact that PAM is coming powerfully during 2026 elections.”
Secretary General Ouahbi has pointed out to the good financial and organizational management of the party to be among the rank of big parties in Morocco and to build new party central and regional facilities and headquarters in different areas of the Kingdom to strongly endorse party large influence in the Moroccan society.
On the other hand, Secretary General Ouahbi has reiterated that the era of allegiance to influential individuals inside the party for electoral or narrow personal sake has ended and nobody is above the nation and the party interest because the main goal is to build a party of institutions and not a party of individuals; adding that the party administration is making tremendous efforts and doing its best to strengthen party commitments regionally and provincially and that three years and half after the Al Jadida convention, were sufficient to put the party on good construction track at all levels thanks to efforts done by all militants to make of the PAM a strong national party capable of overcoming last conflicts and compulsions with the expectations of building the party future on firm and strong foundations.”
