The Government council adopted a bill about measures concerning judges’ legal status

The government council chaired by Government President Mr. Aziz Akhannouch adopted last Monday, July 26, 2023, a project bill number 2.23.565 about several measures concerning judges’ legal status which was presented by Minister of Justice Mr. Abdellatif Ouahbi.

This bill has come, according to the government official spokesman, in the context of activating the rules of articles 6, 26 and 32 of the legal status number 106.13 concerning judges. This bill has been changed and completed by a status bill number 14.22 and executed by a royal decree number 1.23.37 dated March 16, 2023.

The project bill aims at establishing appropriateness judges’ legal provisions with latest developments included in the bill number 38.15 concerning legal status of judges of excellent grade which was created for the behalf of judges and their promotion procedures, including daily compensations for transportation, lodging and missions outside their offices either inside the Kingdom or abroad as stipulated in the bill number 38.15 about judges’ legal status.
