After an in-depth debate of different issues included in the Secretary General’s political presentation, the Politburo has stated the following points:

  • First, Regarding the crisis related to basic status of national education staff and teachers, the Politburo, while it highly expresses gratitude to male and female teachers for their tremendous efforts and noble tasks inside our country, at the same time, recalls the big efforts made by our country to improve the quality and develop national education sector over many decades, thanks to the strong determination by the government which has made of this vital social sector one of its priorities to strengthen trust of both active players and citizens in our national educational system. In the same context, the Politburo calls for intensifying constructive dialogue to evoke full public interest and therefore find all kinds of appropriate solutions to defuse this crisis and so help the return of students and pupils back to school as soon as possible.
  • Second, the Politburo has deepened the discussion about the party memo which will be submitted to the body in charge of amending the family status code, from the standpoint of both national constants and from authentic and secular values and principles inside the party. The party is looking forwards to contributing with full responsibility to find answers to many issues and distortions that have characterized the family status over the last twenty years; and therefore to actively participate in this family reform, since the family is regarded as the nucleus of the society and the basis for its progress and development.
  • Third, the party highly praises the efforts made by the party team at the first house and its outstanding presence during various phases of the budget bill discussion, and its responsible political positions in full respect for the government majority charter. The Politburo has expressed the same observation regarding the party team at the second house to bring support to the budget bill especially what concerns the implementation of social and health protection for all social categories and implement the social state to subsidy direct support for housing programs.
  • Fourth, regarding the party organizational matters, the Politburo highly praises efforts and takeaways of the preparatory committee held last week to prepare the party fifth national convention expected to take place on February 9, 10 and 11, 2023 in Bouznika.
  • Fifth, concerning external matters, the Politburo has registered with big satisfaction the curfew reached in the Palestinian territories which will allow the minimum of assistance to the Palestinian people. In this regard, the Politburo reiterates its condemnation of the brutal aggression against Gaza Strip for over fifty days, and of the horrific attacks and killings against children, women and civilians, the fact which has caused a large damage in the area in flagrant violation of international laws and human conventions and charters. In this context, the Politburo highly praises the contents of the royal message sent by His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the President of the commission in charge of the Palestinian people on the occasion of the international day of solidarity for the Palestinian people, in which His Majesty has clearly reaffirmed that the continuation of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the targeting of civilians question the international community conscience, especially big powers and the Security Council as the UN mechanism responsible for preserving security, stability and peace in the world.
