Le gouvernement israélien approuve l’accord de rétablissement des relations diplomatiques avec le Maroc
Le gouvernement israélien a approuvé dimanche l’accord de normalisation entre Israël et le Maroc par un vote à l’unanimité de ses membres, a rapporté le quotidien « The Jerusalem Post » sur son site web.
Selon le journal israélien, le Premier ministre Benjamin Netanyahu a qualifié cet accord de « moment historique après quatre accords de paix avec quatre États musulmans et arabes en quatre mois et a salué le roi Mohammed VI ».
Netanyahou a ajouté que bientôt il y aura des vols directs avec le Maroc, une coopération économique, commerciale, technologique et une ouverture de missions diplomatiques dans les deux pays.
Pour sa part, le ministre israélien de la Défense, Benny Gantz, a salué le roi Mohammed VI « pour son leadership ».
« Je suis heureux que le processus avance. Nous devons continuer à travailler avec l’administration Biden pour étendre et établir la normalisation et pour répondre à la menace iranienne », a dit Gantz cité par le Jerusalem Post.
La même source a indiqué que l’accord entre Israël et le Maroc, qui vient d’être approuvé par l’exécutif israélien, doit encore être soumis à la Knesset pour un vote, puis revenir au gouvernement pour sa ratification finale.
