Droits de l’homme : Le Pré-forum mondial des droits de l’Homme se tient les 17 et 18 février
A l’initiative du Conseil national des droits de l’Homme (CNDH), le Pré-forum des droits de l’Homme se tiendra les 17 et 18 février au Palais des Congrès de Bouregreg, en coopération avec le Centre international pour la promotion des droits de l’Homme (UNESCO), selon un communiqué.
Ce Pré-forum est organisé dans le cadre de la participation du Maroc au troisième Forum mondial des droits de l’Homme qu’accueillera la capitale argentine Buenos Aires, en mars prochain.
La rencontre réunira plus de 300 acteurs institutionnels, des experts, des universitaires, des représentants d’organisations nationales et internationales actives dans le domaine des droits humains, notamment au sein des Nations unies, de l’Union africaine et en Amérique latine, indique un communiqué du CNDH.
« Constitueront la base d’un plaidoyer international renouvelé »
Avec plus de cinquante pays représentés, les travaux de ce préforum seront une occasion pour échanger sur «les développements les plus importants et les défis émergents en matière de droits humains, comme les questions de changements climatiques, de justice transitionnelle et de mémoire, ou encore de la migration et des mobilités», ajoute la même source.
L’idée est aussi de créer un espace de partage des expériences et des bonnes pratiques, afin de lever des recommandations et proposer des initiatives aussi concrètes qu’efficaces.
Les points retenus dans ce sens «constitueront la base d’un plaidoyer international renouvelé» qui prône la protection des droits humains «comme point de départ, axe et objectif», pour être présenté lors du Forum mondial en Argentine.

Présidente du CNDH, Amina Bouayach estime que la rencontre de Rabat «n’est pas seulement l’occasion de mettre en lumière les questions relatives aux droits de l’Homme et de s’attaquer aux principales causes des défis transnationaux ou des menaces mondiales émergentes».
C’est aussi «un forum à travers lequel nous cherchons à prendre des initiatives réelles et efficaces et à formuler des recommandations qui contribueront pour enrichir le débat sur les droits de l’Homme», au cours du rendez-vous prévu à Buenos Aires.
Les travaux du préforum seront ouverts par Amina Bouayach (CNDH), Nasser Bourita, ministre des Affaires étrangères, de la coopération africaine et des Marocains résidents à l’étranger, Santiago Cafiero, ministre des Affaires étrangères, du commerce international et des affaires religieuses (Argentine) et Fernanda Gil Lazano, directrice exécutive du Centre international pour la promotion des droits de l’Homme – UNESCO (Argentine).
