Emmanuel Macron, reflète l’importance que le Souverain accorde à ce domaine.
M. Bensaid a ajouté que le Maroc œuvre à introduire de nouveaux métiers liés à l’industrie des jeux électroniques, dont le chiffre d’affaires mondial avoisine les 300 milliards de dollars, jugeant « indispensable » que le Maroc se fraie une place dans ce domaine.
Le ministre a assuré que parmi les domaines de coopération entre le Maroc et la France, figure le cinéma, faisant savoir que des projets de coopération en la matière entre les deux pays verront le jour à Dakhla et à Ouarzazate.
Pour sa part, Mme Dati a relevé que les relations culturelles entre la France et le Maroc se caractérisent par une amitié profonde et une confiance mutuelle, « reflet d’un partenariat stratégique entre nos deux nations ».
Mme Dati a souligné l’importance de cette coopération, illustrée notamment par la signature de deux accords visant à encourager les échanges et à renforcer les secteurs des industries culturelles et créatives, notamment en matière de patrimoine, de cinéma, de livre, et de jeux vidéo.
« Un des projets phares de ces accords est la future Cité du gaming à Rabat, qui ambitionne de faire du Maroc un acteur clé dans le secteur des jeux vidéo, » a-t-elle précisé.
Ce cadre de coopération entend mobiliser l’expertise d’institutions françaises de renom, tels que le Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC) et l’Ecole ISART Digital, avec un soutien financier du ministère de l’Europe et des Affaires étrangères, a-t-elle précisé.
« Nous partageons avec le Royaume la conviction que les industries créatives représentent un levier essentiel pour l’emploi, la croissance et le dynamisme de la jeunesse », a dit Mme Dati, évoquant les projets ambitieux prévus en matière de patrimoine et de francophonie, tels que la création de la Cité internationale de production cinématographique à Ouarzazate et des résidences pour les cinéastes marocains en France.
