On the evening of Friday, November 9, 2018, Mohamed Al-Suleimani, Regional Secretary of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) in Fez, chaired an organizational meeting held at the party’s regional headquarters in Fez. The meeting was attended by Mr. Farid Amgar, a member of the Federal Bureau; Mr. Zouhair Laalioui, Regional Secretary-General; as well as Member of Parliament Ms. Thuraya Faraj and Mr. Lahsan Harath, a member of the National Council, in the presence of party officials and activists in Fez.

The meeting was organized to finalize the composition of the party’s regional secretariat in Fez, in accordance with the conclusions of the previous internal organizational meeting, which was chaired by Secretary-General Hakim Benchamach and Mr. Al-Arabi Al-Mahrachi, President of the National Association of Elected Officials. The meeting saw the unanimous approval of the members of the regional secretariat.
In this context, Lahsan Harath, a member of the National Council of the PAM party, highlighted the difficult circumstances currently facing the city of Fez due to mismanagement by local officials, emphasizing the party’s pivotal role in the region, which requires unity and solidarity among all parties to improve the living conditions of the population.
Meanwhile, Farid Amgar, a member of the Federal Bureau, spoke about the party’s founding in 2009, a period during which it gained significant momentum in the region by attracting elites and talented individuals, and by establishing a strong presence in elected councils, as well as meeting the expectations of the population through a policy of engagement with citizens via the organization of various outreach activities. He emphasized the need to restore this momentum to revitalize party and political work in the region by capitalizing on the political vacuum currently affecting the city of Fez.
On the other hand, Amgar urged everyone to fulfill their responsibilities in accordance with the party platform and to work at the provincial, municipal, and parallel sector levels, as well as within various forums, in order to build a strong party organization.
In addition, Zouhair Al-Aliwi highlighted the significant responsibility of the regional secretariat, noting the expectations of the residents of Fez across various sectors, and pointing out that establishing the PAM’s presence in Fez would help extend its reach to the rest of the region’s provinces.

Al-Aliwi also called on everyone to make a meaningful contribution to mobilizing resources and working to resolve issues so that the PAM party can assume a leading role in the region.
Congresswoman Thoria Faraj highlighted the organizational launch marked by the formation of the regional office, which is responsible for carrying out daily organizational tasks in preparation for the upcoming elections, and expressed her commitment to raising issues concerning Fez in the House of Representatives.
Mohamed Al-Suleimani, regional secretary of the Authenticity and Modernity Party, concluded by outlining the stages of the consultations he had conducted, taking into account the representation of the provinces and the parallel sectors of youth, women, and other party stakeholders.
It should also be noted that the organizational meeting saw the formation of the Regional Secretariat’s executive committee, which was unanimously approved. This committee consists of Mohamed Al-Suleimani Al-Houti Al-Hassani, Abdelali Chinnoune, Thuraya Faraj, Idris Bou Salamia, Souad Al-Tiali, Ismail Al-Shawi, Karim Assara, Lotfi Afif, Samir Al-Wasti, Kawthar Alami, Harith Lahsan, Laila Al-Shaabi, Mohamed Al-Alami, Rashid Al-Raada, Radwan Al-Ghafouli, and Abdelmajid Al-Mutawakel.
