The Municipal Council of Sidi Bouathmane, chaired by Tarek Taha, held its regular session for the month of May 2023, with an agenda consisting of eight items.
The session began with an opening address by Mr. Taha Shukr, in which he welcomed the Pasha, the members, representatives of Al-Omran Company, the representative of the consulting firm tasked with implementing the municipality’s work program, civil society representatives, and the municipality’s managers and technicians.
During the session, two presentations were given: the first, on the urban rehabilitation and development program for the city of Sidi Bouathmane, was delivered by a representative of the research office affiliated with Al-Omran Company; the second, on the municipality’s work program, was presented in detail by a representative of the research office.
The agenda for this session also included the following items: consideration and approval of an administrative decision by the President of the Sidi Bouathmane Municipal Council regarding the regulation of traffic and movement within the city of Sidi Bouathmane; and consideration and approval of a budget transfer to cover payments required by court rulings.
The meeting also reviewed and approved a budget transfer for the acquisition of land, as well as a partnership agreement between the Sidi Bouathmane municipality and the Regional Delegation of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in the Rehamna region to provide the Level 2 health center in the Sidi Bouathmane municipality with an ambulance.
In addition to reviewing and approving the allocation of the municipality’s share of the remaining funds from the National Initiative for Human Development, amounting to 522,974.60 dirhams.
In conclusion, the Council unanimously approved all items on the session’s agenda.
