MP Moulay Hicham El Mahajri participated in the groundbreaking ceremony for the road project connecting the Najda Cooperative in the Sidi Mohamed Dail commune to the Ait Ahsain roundabout in the Mezouda commune, alongside the Vice President of the Marrakech-Safi Regional Council, Said El Mahajri; the President of the Regional Council, Abdelrahim Boustout; officials and technicians from the Regional Council; the Vice President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Hassan Abu Al-Abbas; and the presidents of several municipalities.
The outcomes of this meeting, regarding Majat, include the opening of a dirt road connecting the Al-Qasiba roundabout to the new road linking the Al-Najda Cooperative in the Sidi Mohammed Dalil commune and the Ait Ahsain roundabout in the Mezouda commune, with a view to preparing a study for this section and paving it as part of a partnership between the Majat commune and the Sidi Mohammed Dalil commune, This road will then be connected to the road slated for paving that links Al-Qasiba to the center of the Majat commune, passing through the Al-Shurafa roundabout.
It was confirmed that the 19-kilometer road connecting Sidi Saïd and Al-Ain Al-Bayda, passing through the villages of Al-Zakara Libel, Douar Labihat, Lamaysira, and Tarifa, is nearing completion; which will break the isolation of several other villages belonging to the Tekna tribe. The possibility of a partnership between the communities of Majat and Amzouda to conduct a feasibility study for the road connecting the two communities via the village of Tioshi and the Ait Baamran tribe was also discussed.
