On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, the Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication, Mr. Mohamed El Mehdi Bensaid, along with the President of the National Museum Foundation, Mr. Mehdi Qatbi, presided over the signing ceremony for a partnership agreement between the Ministry and the Foundation.
The agreement provides for the National Institute of Archaeology and Heritage to offer training courses and diplomas in the field of museology, on the one hand, and to provide staff and management of the National Museum Institution with ongoing training and professional development; as well as international exchange programs proposed and made available by the Institute, on the other hand.
The terms of the agreement also provide for the Institute’s students to have access to the Foundation’s museums and to participate in internships there.
This partnership will facilitate the exchange of expertise, research findings, archaeological discoveries, and methods for the maintenance and preservation of tangible heritage between the National Institute of Archaeology and Heritage and the National Museum Foundation.
