انتخاب المغرب عضوا بمجلس الأمن الإفريقي

انتخب؛ المغرب أمس الخميس، 03 فبراير الجاري؛ من قبل المجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد الإفريقي، عضوا بمجلس السلم والأمن التابع للاتحاد لولاية من ثلاث سنوات.

وحصل المغرب على أزيد من ثلثي الأصوات خلال هذا الانتخاب.

وتم انتخاب المغرب، وأربعة عشر عضوا آخرين، لولايات من سنتين أو ثلاث سنوات، بمناسبة الدورة العادية الـ 40 للمجلس التنفيذي للاتحاد التي انعقدت بمقر المنظمة الإفريقية بأديس أبابا خلال الفترة ما بين ثاني و ثالث فبراير الجاري.

ويقود وزير الشؤون الخارجية والتعاون الإفريقي والمغاربة المقيمين بالخارج،  ناصر بوريطة، الوفد المغربي المشارك في هذه الدورة حيث شكل انتخاب وتعيين خمسة عشر عضوا بمجلس السلم والأمن بالاتحاد إحدى أقوى اللحظات.

يذكر أن المغرب كان قد انتخب بمجلس السلم والأمن التابع للاتحاد الإفريقي لولاية من سنتين ما بين 2018-2020، ساهمت خلالها المملكة بشكل بناء في تحسين أساليب العمل وإرساء ممارسات جيدة.
