Ashraf, President of the Beni Mellal-Khenifra Regional Council, Adel Barakat; alongside the regional governor, heads of security services, elected officials, and relevant external agencies, on the evening of Thursday, July 27, presided over the inauguration and launch of development projects in the rural communities of Beni Mellal and Oulad Saïd El Oued, with a total estimated value of approximately 3,270,000 dirhams.
In the Oulad Saïd El Oued community, a facility for the manufacture of electrical poles, operated by AFRIC LIGHT, was inaugurated. The project represented an investment of approximately 220 million dirhams and was built on a site covering nearly 5 hectares; it is expected to create 370 jobs.

To improve and strengthen healthcare services, the cornerstone was laid for the reconstruction of the Amriya Urban Health Center in the Beni Mellal commune, at a cost of approximately 2 million dirhams; On this occasion, construction projects were also presented for the urban health centers in Gar al-Nahl and Ramila in Beni Mellal, as well as the rural health center in the commune of Sidi Jaber. The Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection has allocated approximately 6.3 million dirhams for these projects.
The same municipality has also launched projects to reinforce and repair roads and pave alleys in underdeveloped neighborhoods in the city of Beni Mellal, at an estimated cost of approximately 42.7 million dirhams, to be funded by the Beni Mellal municipal budget.
