As part of efforts to improve security services in the Eastern Region, Abdel Nabi Baïoui, president of the regional council, oversaw the delivery of a fleet of motorcycles to the regional police on Monday, July 30, 2018.
The initiative, led by Abdel Nabi Baïoui—who was accompanied by the regional governor and the governor of the Oujda-Angad province—is part of the support provided by the Oriental Region Council to law enforcement agencies to ensure an immediate response and timely intervention.

In this regard, Abdel Nabi Baoui emphasized that the security approach is one of the Council’s priorities, as it is a fundamental concern for citizens. He commended the significant efforts made by security agencies in the Eastern Region to combat all forms of crime in order to ensure the region’s security and stability, while expressing his full readiness to provide the police force with the necessary equipment in the coming years.
The president of the regional council noted that an agreement had previously been signed with the Oujda and Eastern Provinces in 2016, under which transportation and logistical resources were acquired for the police. He explained that this equipment has significantly contributed to strengthening the efforts of the General Directorate to protect public safety, combat crime, and ensure the safety of citizens and their property.
