On Monday, March 11, 2019, Mustapha Bakouri, President of the Casablanca-Settat Regional Council, accompanied by the Director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training, the Prefect of the Ain Sebaa-Hay Mohammadi districts, the District President of Ain Sebaa, and the Regional Director of Ain Sebaa-Hay Mohammadi, paid an inspection visit to the Black Rocks Indoor Gymnasium—the sports facility in the Black Rocks district, which was completed with funding from the Regional Council—as well as to the Sports High School in the Ain Sebaa district.
The inspection visits by the president of the Casablanca-Settat region are part of the implementation of the partnership agreement signed in the presence of His Majesty the King between the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education, and Scientific Research and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, pursuant to which it was decided to establish integrated “sports-academic” educational tracks, as well as vocational training and higher education pathways for high school students in sports preparatory programs.
Mustafa Bakouri inspected the facilities at the Riyadh Rehabilitation High School for Athletes and the progress of the work there ahead of its opening during the upcoming school year. The school is undergoing extensive renovations, including upgrades to the sports fields, the indoor gymnasium, the swimming pool, and the track and field facilities.
