On the sidelines of the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services’ participation in the Global Entrepreneurship and Investment Forum in Bahrain, Ibrahim Ben Zouina, representative of the National Initiative for Agricultural Sector Development and the Garden Exhibition in the Kingdom of Morocco and Chairman of the Chamber’s Partnership and International Cooperation Committee, met with Her Highness Sheikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of the National Initiative for Agricultural Sector Development of the Kingdom of Bahrain, on Thursday, May 16, 2024, in the Bahraini capital of Manama, in the presence of the President of the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services and the Chamber’s Secretary.
Sheikha Maram bint Isa Al Khalifa reaffirmed her support for all initiatives aimed at strengthening partnerships between Moroccan investors and their counterparts in the Kingdom of Bahrain, as well as increasing trade and investment between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Kingdom of Bahrain. The two sides also discussed several issues of mutual interest.
The two sides agreed to sign a partnership and cooperation agreement between the two institutions, aimed at providing a framework for joint work and coordinating their efforts to achieve shared goals. This agreement will also define areas of cooperation and outline the roles and responsibilities of each party, in addition to establishing clear mechanisms for implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
