The relevant authorities in the Beni Matar local community (Jerada Province) are carrying out a number of field operations to disinfect various facilities in the city due to the spread of the coronavirus. With the recent rise in temperatures and the accompanying spread of mosquitoes and gnats, these authorities, under the personal supervision of the Director of the Municipal Health Office, conducted a field inspection of areas where these insects are likely to breed and multiply, such as hot springs and stagnant water bodies located around the city.
The aim of this inspection is to develop a proactive program and take the necessary measures to eliminate these insects, which are a source of distress for residents during this seasonal period each year. The inspection also coincides with the exceptional circumstances currently affecting all regions of our country due to the spread of the coronavirus, which necessitates additional measures regarding sanitation and hygiene to ensure that residents have all the conditions necessary to maintain their health and safety.
As part of various precautionary measures to monitor prices and food quality in stores and markets, the municipality conducted a field inspection that resulted in the issuance of ten citations for violations related to hygiene and the display of products unfit for consumption. Consequently, these items were seized and destroyed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
